The Tracer top is Craighill's first explicitly kinetic toy. Inspired by a single droplet colliding with a body of water, the Tracer’s design is an evocative rendering of an otherwise impermanent form. But it’s not just nice to look at. It was specifically engineered to defy the forces of friction and gravity for long, satisfying spins. Colored pips provide grip for heightened spin control in the hand and generate a hypnotic visual effect while in motion.
