Madeline's Christmas

$20.00

A must-read holiday classic.

PROUCT:

In an old house in Paris, that was covered with vines, lived twelve little girls, in two straight lines, the smallest one was Madeline. Charming readers for more than 75 years, this timeless series comes home for the holidays as Madeline finds help from a magical merchant the night before Christmas while all the other children are sick in bed. The girls embark on a Christmas journey that will surely make them forget their sniffles and sneezes.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Austrian and American author Ludwig Bemelmans (1898-1962) was the author of the beloved Madeline books, including Madeline, a Caldecott Honor Book, and Madeline's Rescue, winner of the Caldecott Medal. He got the inspiration for the children's series after being hospitalized from a bicycle accident in France. The sisters of the hospital wore large starched hats and a little girl in the bed next to him had her appendix out.
