The colorful pastels on the band of this hand-woven palm hat from Sunshine Tienda brings a bright twist on a summer essential. Talented female artisans from Guatemala make each band secured around a shady hat made out of palm fronds from the banks of the Chixoy River.

MAKER STORY:

Founded in 2014 by two sisters, Sunshine Tienda is a vacation-inspired accessories and beachwear brand designed around a simple state of mind: “Be Vacation Happy.” Laura and Amanda Ernst curate collections of statement jewelry, sun hats, breezy beach dresses and handy totes, all influenced by a love of warm-weather destinations.
