ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
The book features original photography from Matthew Millman, a seasoned photographer of architecture and interior design for more than 20 years. Alisa Carroll is west coast contributing editor of Veranda and editor-in-chief of San Fransisco Cottages & Gardens. She is also the creator and host of The Alcôve Project, a podcast exploring French sacred and artistic spaces spanning from the 11th century Fontevraud Abbey to the 18th century Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature and beyond. Carroll grew up in Fairfield County, CT.
