PRODUCT:

Sourced from Europe's only MSC-certified sustainable anchovy fishery, these anchovies are caught by small-boat fishermen using the purse seine fishing method in the Cantabrian Sea. They are semi-preserved through a salt-curing process that lasts for an average of six to eight months and hand-packed by a third-generation family owned cannery using a traditional artisan process. Each tin of anchovies is packed with premium Spanish extra virgin olive oil sourced directly from Andalusian farmers.

The name fishwife dates back to the 16th century referring to women selling fish at the local markets caught by their husbands or fathers.
